DIGI Administrative Specialist – Seattle, WA

I-TECH has an outstanding opportunity for a Seattle-based, full-time Administrative Specialist for the Digital Initiatives Group at I-TECH (DIGI) team.

The DIGI Administrative Specialist will be responsible for leading DIGI operational and administrative processes, to enable successful work with both internal and external clients. They will be responsible for DIGI budget management, balancing staffing workload and allocations across projects, and internal and external communications. They will provide exemplary and respectful customer service, often being the initial contact for international funders and external partners. We are looking for someone who works well independently, and in service to a team, and who is able to prioritize competing deadlines. They will anticipate the administrative needs and make sure all contracts and agreements are completed accurately and on time. They will have excellent budgetary and organizational skills. The Administrative Specialist will communicate with poise and diplomacy with faculty and partners, and will be respectful and conscientious.

Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor – Seattle, WA

I-TECH has an outstanding opportunity for a Seattle-based, full-time Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor.

The M&E Advisor will be based in Seattle, Washington and work as part of a larger technical and programmatic team within I-TECH. Key to this position will be its collaborations with senior level technical advisors and faculty members within I-TECH, and with M&E and quality improvement (QI) counterparts within the Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire office to promote strengthening and standardization of M&E systems; training and mentoring of M&E staff; and promoting data use and data feedback loops, particularly at regional and national levels. In addition to M&E technical assistance, responsibilities will include strengthening reporting efforts to funders and other key, strategic partners as well as developing assessment and program evaluation design and protocols.

Genomic Sequencing Consultant – Malawi New Posting!

The International Training & Education Center for Health at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA is seeking a Genomic Sequencing Consultant to develop a comprehensive national genomic sequencing/surveillance strategic plan in Malawi. The consultant will report to the Malawi Genomics Committee Secretariat and will work with stakeholders including, but not limited to, various ministries (e.g., health, agriculture, education), Public Health Institute of Malawi, I-TECH, and other PEPFAR implementing partners.

Human Resources for Health Assessment Lead (Part-time)  – Remote/Namibia

The International Training & Education Center for Health at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA is seeking a part-time consultant to lead an assessment of human resources for health in Namibia, with a focus on personnel responsible for health information systems (HIS) and program Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) for the national HIV/AIDS response.  The position may be performed primarily remotely from the consultant’s place of residence but will require presence in Namibia for 2-3 periods of 1-3-weeks each.
